Your Mentor Doc was envisioned by Dr. Carlos Vieira, and brought to life in collaboration with his friend and engineer, Ricardo Borges. Together, they leveraged advanced AI technology to build a compassionate platform designed to bridge the gap between breast cancer patients and their care team.
Our core mission is to bring empathy, reliable information, clarity, and genuine support to patients navigating challenging times—helping to reduce anxiety throughout the healing process. Since 2024, hundreds of hours have been dedicated to capturing Dr. Vieira’s deep clinical expertise, human-centered approach, and best practices in healthcare. The result is a dedicated digital companion built to empower and support women every step of their health journey.
About Dr. Carlos Vieira, MD, FACS
Dr. Vieira is a highly rated breast surgeon known for his deeply compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. He completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, followed by a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Vieira is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, certified in breast surgery by the Society of Surgical Oncology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). With nearly three decades of experience treating breast cancer and complex breast conditions, he remains active in clinical research and has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
